There
is a growing strain on water supplies in California. The state has a
population of 38,340,000 people. Looking forward. „... California
is expected to add nearly 9.9 additional residents by 2030, a
increase to 46.4 million residents. This massiv increase and total
amount of people in California will strain water supplies in the
state. Lake Mead is a main supplier of water to California, supplying
4.4 million acre-feet of water per year.
Due
to a positive judge ruleing for the Mojave Desert water project and
the drought in California this stock is catching up with momentum.
The drought discussion and recent political decission really helps
this stock and makes it a much more secure investment.
Santa
Margarita Water named Cadiz Inc their new source for drinking water
will purchase at least 5,000 acre-feet of water annually.
In
late october it was also reported that a insider bought shares in
Cadiz inc worth $200k. That is a very good sign for all the CDZI
investors and soon to be investors.
Summary:
With
the drought coverage on „60 minutes“ and a positive political
movement towards a better water supply, Cadiz Inc is ranked as a
strong Buy.
The
shorts are currently fading away which could lead to a quick rise of
this stock.
If
the momentum is catching up and the shorts are going away we might be
looking to a massiv short squeeze.
